Volleyball looks to continue their roll

Fresh off of a 2-1 start to the RMAC season, which included a win over nationally ranked Metro State, #7 in the nation, the Lady Stangs will follow Coach Callender north to Colorado. First stop is Gunnison where the Lady Stangs will take on Western State Friday night. WSC is 0-3 in the conference after being swept by Regis, Colorado Christian and Colorado Mines last week. Western State did not win a game against any of their RMAC foes and they are 3-8 overall this season. But the Lady Stangs cannot rest on their laurels; they were solid at home last year but struggled mightily to win on the road, especially in the conference. It will take focus and execution to get the win in Gunnison and get some confidence before taking the trip on to tackle CSU-Pueblo on Saturday night. Pueblo is tied for first atop the West Division, with the Lady Stangs; They will host Highlands on Friday and expect to be coming off of a solid win when WNMU rolls into town.

Be sure and get out to support the purple and gold!!
